OMG SP fandom...

Anyway, Ill begin with saying Ive been a South Park fan sence 1998... I just never thought to draw for it, and had never seen art for it. Then a few months ago I believe I thought I would do something just SOOOO origoinal... or so I thought

I was like... going to draw South Park... anime style ... yeah wow... Im like... a geniouse right? XD

After that first drawing I became hooked...( Yeah I know youve noticed

)and even :gasp: started likeing pairings. Then I started looking around... and low and behold theres an ASS of different renditions of the South Park characters... EVEN IN JAPANESE!!

So now what started as a way to cure my drawing slump by drawing something different... has gotten me involved in this absolutly awsome fandom with so many talented artists it rediculouse.

Ok this all does have a point... and Im getting to it right now

Even if your not exactly drawing for the South Park fandom, if you watch the show you should know what Im talking about...

:deep breath: OK here we go, and as always... Im not downing anybody, just stateing something that Ive noticed

The SP fandom for the most part is made up of how the artist would see that character in a more detailed form. But each character needs to at least have certain traits to make them accually THAT character right? For instance alot of people draw Cartman well... slim.... and honestly his character really calls for him to be a fat guy

Well theres something else Id like to mention Ive been thinking is a little off...

Has anyone seen the Ginger Kids episode... where Cartman was making fun of Ginger kids ( kids with pale skin, freckles and red hair)? In this Cartman and Kyle clearly stated that Kyle was NOT pale... did NOT have freckles... and being as all these traits are ginger and gingers come with green eyes (read up on it, youll see) he probably doesnt have green eyes either.

Just something I thought Id bring up... soooo...

topics being covered in this pointless journal entry that proves I have no life?

1. It apears that I have been sucked into yet another fandom... and loveing it

2. Kyle is not ginger, damnit!... hes a daywalker...

Anyway, I love all you guys who compliment me and make me feel so warm and fuzzy

A slim Cartman does not equal a happy Sanctus. Well, except for the episode where he played a crucified Jesus for three weeks. That was just funny 8D

Usually the Japanese screw up the American characters, I've noticed

UGH like when Harry Potter has brown hair. I hate that. It blatantly says in the book that it's jet black in like, the first sentence. >_> So I know where you're coming from.

There's a Japanese doujinshi circle called Fragile TV that basically does only anime-style renditions of American TV shows and they've done about five South Park ones- next time I see you online I'll share scans. =3

accually from what Ive seen so far the japinese artists arnt the main ones that make the mistakes. Ive seen some awsome Japinese SP fanart sites.

One big reason you may see more of the mistakes from Harry potter is because the are probably going by the movies and not the books. Although I dont know much about HP myself.

Heehee I already went through my ninja phase. Although I hear Naruto is going to finally get out of filler soon. So I may be able to develope my love for it again.
